Noted Malayalam lyricist and Screen Writer, Gireesh Puthenchery passed away due to a stroke in the brain. He was 49. Girish has scripted films like 'Vadakkunnathan' and 'Pallavoor Devanarayanan'. He is currently scripting a film by the name of 'Raman Police' in which Mohanlal is expected to play the lead role. He penned the story of the super duper hit film “Mele Parambil Aan Veedu”
